Wall Street Financial Corporation (WSFC) is one of the most prominent Mortgage Bankers, servicing states on the Atlantic coast from as far north as Connecticut and as far south as Florida. The company started in 1988 and has grown progressively every year to the present mid-size status. WSFC is a Direct Lender employing a management team that has over 100 years of combined experience in the mortgage lending business, and offers a spectrum of mortgage programs to fit prospective borrowers' needs.

Right from its inception, WSFC's business strategy has been to provide a comprehensive menu of mortgage products delivered by the state of the art mortgage processing and underwriting technology to all qualified borrowers. In February of 1999, WSFC achieved "Full Eagle" status with HUD, under the Direct Endorsement Program, to underwrite FHA and Title 1 Programs. The Direct Endorsement is a privilege accorded only to mortgagees, who continue to demonstrate the ability to originate loans in accordance with HUD underwriting policy.
WSFC is a leader in the field of mortgage technology, constantly updating computer hardware and software to be current with the state of the art technology in the industry. Through the use of Fannie Mae's Desktop Underwriter (UD), Freddie Mac's Loan Prospector (LP), plus several private label systems such as FS Link, WSFC can get loan approvals almost instantly on pre-qualified submitted files. Today we can deliver automated credit decisions on more than 70% of our mortgage origination.
WSFC has a complement of experienced loan processors, underwriters, closing, post closing and legal personnel. In addition, we continue to seek well qualified employees and to provide in-house on-the-job training.
Our experienced and dedicated staff is well positioned to handle all types of mortgage loans, including FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Sub-Prime, Commercial, etc. We are expanding our volume in all the areas and are building strong processing teams to handle the ever growing volume.
Our knowledgeable and hardworking staff in the closing department, works very closely with the legal, processing and funding departments, and has the final reponsibility to bring the loan to a close.
The secondary market desk monitors rates for the best pricing available, locks with investors and secures profitability on the sale of loans to investors.
Finally, the post-closing department reviews closing packages for submission to HUD to insure the government loans and ships complete closed files to investors in the order to assure timely purchase of said loans.
